HAPPY TAILS
ANIMAL SHELTER
WHITE COUNTY, INDIANA

ABOUT US
All strays brought to the Monon Vet Clinic, through the White County Sheriff Department’s Animal Control Officer, that aren't claimed, come to us. This is the ONLY way we receive animals. We CAN NOT take owner surrendors or strays on our premises. Animals go through Monon Vet Clinic to ensure they don't have or haven't picked up something that might put our animals n the shelter at risk. Many illnesses can be passed between pets, not just dog to dog or cat to cat but also from dogs to cats and vice versa. We want to make sure the pet you choose is the healthiest it can be at the time of adoption. Dr. Sam also does some testing with the animals we can not do at the shelter, such as test for fatal diseases. We are a no-kill shelter, so as long as the animal is healthy and/or treatable they will stay with us until they are adopted.
